New Workshop: Introducing Equitable Wilmington And Understanding CDFIs

Equitable Wilmington

Learn about your Delaware Community Development Financial Institutions (CDFIs) and what kind of deals they are looking to finance!

Who are we? NCALL, Cinnaire and True Access Capital are members of Equitable Wilmington, a collaborative of CDFIs supporting equitable development in Wilmington’s neighborhoods through the JPMorgan Chase PRO neighborhoods grant.

What will we be discussing? They will introduce what is Equitable Wilmington, what is equitable development and what their own CDFIs offer. They will also give some examples of the kinds of deals they are open to financing and what they expect from potential borrowers. You’ll hear directly from Dionna Sargent (Cinnaire), Karen Kollias (NCALL) and David Ortiz (True Access Capital) who will share more about their work and how to access their services and products.

This is the first workshop in a series of Equitable Wilmington Workshops that provide technical assistance to those in Wilmington who engage in equitable development that will be offered through 2021.

Who should attend? Community-based organizations, community development corporations, individuals interested in developing properties, individuals interested in starting or growing their business.

When? Tuesday, December 8th, 2020 5:30 – 7:30 P.M.

This will be a virtual event hosted on Zoom. Please register by Friday, December 4, 20202 through Eventbrite to receive the virtual meeting link.
